Township administrative offices are located at 550 Washington Road, next door to Huntington Bank and across from Washington Ford.  Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.

The Board of Supervisors appoints a Township Manager who also performs the duties of Secretary, Treasurer and Zoning Officer.  The Township Manager, John Stickle, is responsible for the day to day operations of the Township including carrying out the policies established by the Supervisors, keeping all Township records, handling all correspondence, depositing all moneys and handling resident complaints.  As Zoning Officer, the Township Manager handles all zoning complaints and performs other Zoning Officer duties.

The Township Manager is assisted by a bookkeeper, Ann Garner and a secretary, Ellen Wallo who provide administrative support.

TAX COLLECTION
The Elected Tax Collector is currently Laura Keisling, whose office is located at the Municipal Building. The office hours are Tuesday and Thursday,10 A.M. to 2 P.M. and Wednesday 1 P.M. to 4:30 P.M.   Ms. Keisling collects Real Estate tax and Per Capita Tax.  Ms. Keisling's phone number is 724-225-7244.

Act 32 of 2008 requires the county-wide collection of the Earned Income Tax.  The Washington County Tax Collection District has selected Keystone Collections Group (Keystone) to collect Earned Income Tax in all Washington County municipalities and school districts.  South Strabane has also appointed Keystone to collect the Local Services Tax.

Central Tax Bureau, the Township’s prior collector of Earned Income and Local Services Taxes, will continue to collect delinquent Earned Income and Local Services Taxes from 2011 and prior years.  Centax can be reached at 1-800-519-7347.

The Township’s share of the Mercantile Tax will continue to be collected by Centax.
