2023 Fall Leaf Pickup Announced

Fall leaf pick up

South Strabane Township Public Works Department will conduct its annual leaf bag curbside pickup on the following dates:

  • Monday October 30
  • Monday November 6
  • Monday November 13
  • Monday November 20
  • Monday November 27

All leaves must be placed in biodegradable paper bags. Leaf bags will soon be available at the Township Municipal Building with the first 5 bags being free for each household. Additional 5-packs of bags are available at $2 each. The intention of the program is to assist residents in their efforts to remove and retrieve leaves that may have fallen during the summer and fall months. Bags (leaves ONLY - No Grass Clippings) must be placed at the curb by 7:00 a.m. each pickup day. In order to accommodate all Township residents, the Public Works Department will only allocate a maximum of ten minutes per property for curbside collection.  

Please place leaves in the bags only  - no grass clippings. (DO NOT TAPE THE BAGS SHUT)
