The Township is actively seeking applicants for two vacant alternate members on the Zoning Hearing Board. Interested Township residents are encouraged to submit a completed application and resume to Township staff. The application can be found at the Township's Volunteer page.

The Township's Zoning Hearing Board is a quasi-judicial body consisting of three permanent and two alternate members. The purpose of the Zoning Hearing Board is to ensure fair administration of the Township Zoning Ordinance.

The Zoning Hearing Board hears: appeals from actions of the Zoning Officer; challenges to the validity of provisions of the Zoning Ordinance; requests for variances where hardships are present; and special exception requests that are provided for in the Zoning Ordinance.  However, the Zoning Hearing Board has no jurisdiction to make or modify zoning policy.

The Zoning Hearing Board meets the 2nd Monday of every month at 6:00 P.M in the Municipal Building.
