K9 Tornado End of Watch

It is with great sadness that that we report K9 Tornado, partner of Officer Keith Zenkovich, ended his watch on January 27, 2022 as the result of an unforeseen medical condition. 

K9 Tornado was sworn in June 22, 2021 and the first K9 in the newly created program. Tornado was certified as a working patrol dog, and specialized in narcotics and article searches. He and Officer Zenkovich could often be found at the Community Park working on continued training, whilst interacting with the residents of the township. Tornado quickly became an intricate part of our department, and his absence will be felt by many, amongst the department and within the community.
