Tax Collection

The Elected Tax Collector is currently Susan Koehler, whose office is located at the Municipal Building. The office hours are Tuesday and Wednesday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm, and Thursday from 12:00 pm to 3:30 pm. Ms. Koehler collects Real Estate Tax, Per Capita, and Fire Tax. Ms. Koehler's phone number is (724) 225-9055 x 212. 

Act 32 of 2008 requires the county-wide collection of the Earned Income Tax. The Washington County Tax Collection District has selected Keystone Collections Group (Keystone) to collect Earned Income Tax in all Washington County municipalities and school districts. South Strabane has also appointed Keystone to collect the Local Services Tax and Mercantile Tax.
