Glass Recycling
Effective January 1, 2025, Waste Management resumed collecting glass as part of the curbside collection program for all residential customers. Consequently, beginning on July 1, 2025, the Township discontinued the glass dumpster at the Township's Recycling Center at 253 Zediker Station Road.
Glass bottles and containers may be placed in your blue recycle container along with other recyclables and will be picked up on your normal recycle pick-up day. The recyclables do not need to be sorted.
The Break Room in Washington also accepts glass. For information, call 724-228-2900.
